Clubnotes 11-09   11/09/2017

Well done to the Minor Hurlers who beat Faughs in the first round of the championship. Hard luck to the U15 Hurlers who were beaten by Ballyboden in Championship and Oliver Plunketts in the league. Intermediate Footballers finished off the league with a win against Brigids while the Seniors lost out to Sylvesters, The Juniors drew with Ballinteer and now enter the promotion play-offs. The U13 Hurlers beat Olafs while the U16 footballers beat Whitehall and Mearnog. In ladies football well done to the U10, U11 and U12 teams for competing so well over the weekend. The U13s beat o Tooles, U14s beat Lucan and U16s beat Fingallians in the Championship. Hard luck to the Juniors who were beaten in the Championship Final by Garritstown, They put in a great performance but came up short. Thanks to Nial and Stephen for all their hard work with the team. In Camoige, hard luck to the Juniors who were beaten by 4 points. Thanks to everyone who helped organise the club bus into Croke Park to support the Dublin Juniors who unfortunately lost out to Westmeath, hard luck to Shane and Nollaig, well done to the girls who played at half time for Thomas Davis.Thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the U14 Inter County Camoige All Ireland in the club on Saturday. It proved very successful. Best of luck to the U12 and 13 teams who play championship this week. The seniors play against Peregrines at home Thursday night in Championship. Best of luck to the Senior Footballers who play in the All Ireland 7s on Saturday. Intermediate Hurlers play Brigids in the league on Saturday at home at 5pm. The Minor footballers play Lucan away in Championship at 1030 Sunday Morning as do the Minor Bs who are at home to Plunketts also our U15 footballers finish off the league at Home 1030 looking to finish the league unbeaten, all support for all the teams would be appreciated, best of luck to all our other teams competing this week. The club would like to offer its condolences to the O Leanachain family on the passing of Tony, the club would also like to offer the condolences to Geraldine Peggs on the passing of her mother Mrs Smyth.
