Weekly club notes   26/07/2020

A great start to the championship for both our senior and inter footballers. The seniors recorded a 9 point victory over round towers lusk on kiltipper rd while the inters stormed back from 6 points down in Malahide to win by 4. Well done to both panels and management teams. Hard luck to the minor hurlers and junior footballers who were beaten in their first round matches.

This week sees a very busy Wednesday night of championship action with 5 club games, the senior hurlers take on Na Fianna at home at 7.30pm (ticket only but will be streamed live on Facebook) Meanwhile both minor football teams travel away to take on Lucan Sarsfields in the A and E championships. After two wins out of two recently in league the senior ladies start their championship campaign with an away tie against Foxrock Cabinteely at 7.30pm in Kilbogget park. While the Junior ladies play Fingal ravens at home wed 7.30pmon the Astro pitch. On Thursday both junior hurling teams line out in championship with the Junior 1 team playing at home to Na Fianna at 7.30pm while the newly formed junior 2 team travel to Lusk to play Round Towers at 7.30pm. Best of luck to all teams and managements.

After nationwide connectivity issues last weekend during the senior football match the what's the scor app should hopefully be back working this week as we cover all senior and minor A football games. It can be downloaded on the App Store.

Sincere condolences to the Sage family and extended family on the passing of Noeleen formerly of Old Bawn and Nenagh.
