Mick Wall Condolences

We’d like to offer our sincere condolences to the Wall family on the sudden passing of Mick Wall (Tallaght formerly Castledermot Co.Kildare). We are thinking of Martin, Margaret, Angela, Michael, Deirdre, Eileen and Martina along with all the extended family during this time.

A former Lily white who represented his home county Kildare with great pride back in the 60’s winning a Leinster medal. Mick was heavily involved in Thomas Davis over a long number of years in particular the Camogie section along with the hurling section where he mentored many teams at both juvenile and adult level. Always encouraging young kids in the local community to get involved in Gaelic games at Thomas Davis.

Mick was involved in various roles on the club executive committee and served on different aspects of club fundraising activities including the club lotto. Back when we used to enter the Tallaght St Patrick’s day parade, Mick would always be heavily involved getting floats ready for the club to partake.

Mick was a great supporter of Thomas Davis and was personified as a great club man and a gent. He loved watching his kids play the sport they loved and enjoyed. He will be fondly remembered on Kiltipper rd for many years to come for the great time, effort and commitment he put in during his time with Thomas Davis.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Funeral Arrangements to follow.
