We’d like to offer our sincere condolences to the Dunne/Byrne families on the passing of Seanie Dunne (Newtown park,Tallaght). We’re thinking of Patsy, Geraldine, Martin, Patricia and all the large extended family and friends during this time.
Seanie a current club trustee was one of the stalwarts of Thomas Davis GAA club and put in a lifetime of volunteering. He was former county board delegate for 40+ years, served as club chairman, adult games commitee chairman and was a member of the clubs development committee which oversaw the club relocation to kiltipper road in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.
He was also a big supporter of our club teams and in particular his grandkids teams. Pictured below with wife Patsy after the senior footballers beat Kilmacud crokes in 2019 to qualify for our first Senior A championship final since 1991.
We can’t thank Seanie enough for his years of service to our club, he’ll be sadly missed but fondly remembered on Kiltipper rd for many years to come. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
